I sure hope humans are in the loop at those companies, reviewing pics that aren't recognized as faces. If I ever see one of those captchas, they'll get to see some things that no human has ever, or should ever, see.
I've been warning my boss that we need to stop using google for our work email accounts because of exactly shit like this. Not looking forwards to the inevitable "I told you so".
Have exempted smaller models so far. Seems like they're trying to soft-launch then tighten the ratchet, and I'd be willing to accept that this is a cynical view if this hasn't been the modus operandi for a while now. See EA/Sony/etc. continually trying to find a way to get their foot in the "always online, you're just renting the game" door.
