What books do you recommend?

It doesn't matter. Just pick a topic that you are currently interested in and start reading. Go to amazon.com, type in the subject and find a book with the highest ratings that sounds interesting.

Sometimes I read about new languages I want to learn, sometimes about a tool I'm currently using but want to know more and sometimes just about programming in general.

If it can still stay on topic when it becomes mainstream then people might be impressed.

I don't like the social aspect to it actually so I don't think I will ever use it. I much prefer how stackexchange works.

Wow I was just thinking I needed something similar to your text app earlier. That is perfect! Cashflow will be handy too!

Thanks a lot.

EDIT: Is there an option to clear a whole sheet? and in the cashflow, you only allow the american format of dates.

Oh and with cashflow, how is someone meant to handle long term use? Update their own balance?

I will add options to clear/disable specific rows or entire sheet (with confirmation). I'll see if there is an easy way to switch the date formats at the client-side.

You do have to update the balances manually but if you have something like Mint, that takes minutes. I update the balances any time I want to review my finances. It seems simpler than having users add their bank accounts etc. like Mint.

Definitely better than adding a real bank account. I can't use Mint because it's not in my country. (I am in Ireland).

> Must be capable of creating 10 jobs in Ireland and realising sales of €1m within 3 to 4 years of starting up.

What actually happens if the startup fails to do this?

And, what is ordinary equity? As you can tell by that question, I'm a newbie when it comes to this. Any background reading recommendations would be appreciated.

TED is elitist but it shares its videos with everyone which makes it great.

I'd like that. I doubt many HN meetups happen where I live.
