I find it odd that this was removed while things like vapor.js (http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1728645) get posted pretty frequently.

Or maybe, as you say, understanding more things makes you worse at coding. Who knows.


I guess I'm not buying that Big-O is a necessary requirement to understand how fast or slow an algorithm will be. It could be that someone understands and uses the process behind it without being at all familiar with the notation.


I think it says a lot here that I read that whole thing and still have no idea what you do or why you're touting it about like this.
